How do I achieve Class 0?

Either strip back mechanically or chemically to non-combustible substrate whilst complying with COSHH and Health & Safety regulations...

Carry out paint analysis beforehand to prevent over specification.

Ensure product is tested to BS 476 Part 6 and Part 7, and achieves Class 0, over the Warrington Fire Research "Blue Board".

Examine test reports to see BS 476 tests for the whole paint system, not just one coat of the system.

Make sure the product is applied correctly so that it performs in the event of a fire.

Ensure manufacturer carries out full post contract inspection to guarantee full protection.

Think of the future! - is the system re-coatable whilst still maintaining Class 0, and does it have the test reports to prove this?
