Specifying and analysis services

Hubdean Specialist Coatings has over 20 years experience in the fire protective anti graffiti market. One of our key company objectives is that we endeavor to look at each job individually ensuring the correct and most economical product is used for the project taking into consideration all the relevant fire classifications. This “site specific” formula extends from pre-contract site analysis to the final specification writing.

Pre contract site analysis is where crosshatch samples and blister temperatures are taken and a site-specific risk assessment is generated for the client’s records. This report will indicate the number of layers / type of paint / thickness and in conjunction with the design of the buildings and the current regulations, will generate a valuable fire risk assessment.

Once the correct system has been specified, to aid the selection process to tenants, we are able to make up tenant information boards giving them colour choice / texture choice (if applicable) or simply a general board giving the tenants information about Hubdean.

An area of growth for our company has been in the “personalising” of sites to make them less institutional and more resistant to vandalism. This could be a general or bespoke design for the lobby or lift area or split colours on the walls. To aid in the fight against vandalism, signs (numerals, fire exits etc) can be incorporated into the system making them virtually impossible to vandalise or destroy.

With regard to specification writing we are able to put together a specific specification for the block as per the clients wishes or you can subscribe to NBS www.nbsplus.co.uk This provides specifications of some of our products.
The company is continually looking at ways to help the problem of fire and graffiti vandalism and believes that the individual attention given to specific sites goes a long way in solving these issues
